The Regional Revenue and Customs office in Gelephu have confiscated Foster beer worth Nu. 3,30,000 on Friday. The consignment belonged to a businessman in Tsirang.
It was confiscated following a tip-off. Import of alcohol has been banned temporarily following the rupee crunch.
