Man arrested for alleged rape

The police in Tsirang have apprehended a 23-year-old man from Tsirang for allegedly raping a 19-year-old woman. According to sources, the incident took place on Friday night, last week at the woman’s house.

The woman reported the incident to the police the next day leading to the suspect’s arrest. Sources said the woman was alone at home at the time.

The police refused to share details stating that the case is under investigation.
