Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay said that the government will coordinate with the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) to address issues faced by some civil servants in certain districts who are not being granted Extraordinary Leave or EOL like in other districts. The authority to approve EOL for civil servants in districts lies with the HR Committees of respective agencies. However, some civil servants claimed that this is not being implemented uniformly across districts, leaving some of them to resign without any option.
