The Thimphu police are investigating three separate burglary cases that took place simultaneously in the capital. Of the three cases, one occurred at the Department of Civil Registration and Census office at Kawangjangsa last night. According to sources, the office reportedly lost a laptop during the incident.

During the same night, another burglary case took place at a hotel nearby the census and civil registration department’s office. The hotel also reportedly lost two laptops.

In addition, another burglary case was reported from an office around Chhubachhu area three days ago. The burglary incident is reported to have occurred on Tuesday midnight. According to sources, a mobile phone was stolen from the office during the time of the incident.
