In honour of His Majesty The King’s 44th birthday, a greening initiative was inaugurated yesterday in Haa Town. The project aims to plant over 200 evergreen trees, carefully chosen to thrive in Haa’s high altitude, thereby enhancing the town’s aesthetic appeal.
Scheduled for completion by April this year, the plantation effort is a collaboration between the district administration, town residents, and De-Suups, with technical assistance from the Jigme Khesar Strict Nature Reserve and Haa Forest Range Office.
