The Tshulag Lopen of the Zhung Dratshang is presiding over a weeklong Pelchen Dorji Zhenui Drubchen at the Kuensel Phodrang in Thimphu.
About 150 monks from the Dorden Tashithang Tshula Shedra are participating in the annual event that began yesterday.
The Drubchen is organised to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty The King and for the well-being of the nation. The Drupchen will end on Thursday.
