As of 5 PM today, 12,933 eligible youths have registered for Gyalsung with only six left to register. According to the Gyalsung Office, some of these remaining youths haven’t registered due to their parents being unaware of their whereabouts or local government leaders being unable to locate their entire families.

The registration period will continue until midnight. There are a total of 12,939 youths born in 2005 eligible for Gyalsung.

According to the Gyalsung Act, a person who fails to register for Gyalsung Training upon receiving the notice shall be fined the daily minimum national wage rate, up to a maximum of ninety days.

In addition, the family member or legal guardian who fails to deliver notice to the eligible person without lawful reason will also face the same fine.
