The 116th National Day celebrations were held at Changlimithang Stadium, with over 20,000 people in attendance and hundreds of thousands more viewing the celebrations live on television and the Internet. His Majesty The King Addressed the nation from the Changlimithang Stadium and shared the plans for the development of a city in Gelephu, which is to be an economic hub for Bhutan.
