The teachings of Kuenchen Jigme Lingpa began in Gelephu today. Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche is presiding over the Ka bum.
More than 20,000 devotees from all over the country gathered for the opening today.
Khenpo Jamyang Gyeltshen of Kharchu Dratshang said the organisers have requested His Eminence for a month and a half of teaching. But, it is the desire of His Eminence to finish the teachings before the Dechog Khorlo Dompai Wangchen begins in Punakha on the 20th of next month, so that people can attend that as well.
