National Carbon Registry launched at COP28 – Bhutan Pavilion

The National Carbon Registry, an initiative to help Bhutan leverage its net negative greenhouse gas emissions in the global carbon market, was launched at the 28th Conference of Parties, COP28, today. The launch was held at the Bhutan Pavilion. The National Carbon Registry aims to harness carbon finance for the country’s climate mitigation objectives. Through the carbon registry, reductions in emissions will be tracked accurately.
