A comprehensive guideline for the central monastic body was launched today in Punakha. The Dorji Lopen along with the four other loboe graced the launch. The guidebook contains roles and responsibilities of the central monastic body, and monastic institutions across the country. The English version of the book will be available soon. The book will be distributed in all monastic institutions across the country.

Laytshog Drungchen, Choten Dorji said, “today under the guidance of His Holiness the Je Khenpo, the comprehensive guideline of the central monastic body has been launched. This comprehensive guideline was formally initiated by the Tshugla Lopen. This comprehensive guideline, in general, outlines the roles and responsibilities of the central monastic body and the monastic institutions across the country. It also outlines the roles and responsibilities of the office bearers under the five monastic councils.”
