The Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body consecrated Losel Yangchenling Anim Shedra at Yagpogang village in Monggar today. Construction of the nunnery began in 2011. The structure including a hostel and classrooms was built with a budget of Nu 65 M with the Government of India’s financial support. There are currently around 90 nuns residing in the nunnery.
