BKP reveals three more candidates

Bhutan Kuen-Nyam Party (BKP), one of the aspiring political parties revealed three more new candidates in a press conference, today.

Gopal Mahat, 58, from Bichgoan in Tsirang will be contesting from Patala-Tsirangtoe Constituency.  He served  in civil service for the last 36 years.  He retired last month. His last post was the Chief Forestry Officer under Forestry Protection and Utilisation Division.  He served in various capacities in Ministry of Agriculture and Forests.

The Party’s candidate from Shompangkha Constituency in Sarpang is R.B. Rana, 58. He started his career as a trainee officer with Department of Agriculture in 1978. He served civil service for 20 years, before resigning to join a private sector.    He worked in private and corporate sectors for eight years. He resigned in 2010 and has been living in his village.

The candidates said they joined Bhutan Kuen-Nyam Party because of the party’s belief and ideology. They also said joining politics is a need of the hour and a moral responsibility.

Ugyen Dorji

Ugyen Dorji an entrepreneur will be representing the Party from Jomotshangkha- Martshala Constituency in Samdrup Jongkhar.

The Party has revealed eight of their candidates till now.
