A 58-year-old man is in police custody after stabbing a 49-year-old man. The incident occurred at 5:30 this morning at Denchhi Chiwog of Gomdar Gewog in Samdrup Jongkhar. According to sources, the dispute between the two started when the 58-year-old who was reportedly sick approached the deceased, asking him to perform a ritual.
However, tensions escalated when the deceased declined the request, leading to a heated argument. The disagreement turned violent as the 58-year-old man brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim reportedly died on the spot. Police are investigating the case.
