Her Majesty the Queen Mother Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck awarded certificates to Bhutanese literary debutants at the closing ceremony of the Bhutan Echoes- Drukyul’s Literature Festival, today. This is to recognise their contribution towards development and promotion of literature in Bhutan.

The winners of a video storytelling competition were also awarded certificates and cash prizes. The international literary festival is conducted annually since 2010 to strengthen arts and literature in the country as a Bhutan-India initiative.
