19 medals from 2019 South Asian Games till date

The Bhutanese Archery and Boxing teams added 6 more medals to the country’s medal tally in the ongoing South Asian Games so far.

In boxing, Tashi Wangdi won the silver medal. However, Tandin Lhamo lost to an Indian fighter and had to settle for a bronze medal.

And in Archery, Kinley Tshering and Sonam Dema both won a silver medal each in the men’s and women’s recurve individual event. Likewise, Tandin Dorji won a silver medal in the Men’s compound individual event while Karma won a bronze medal in the women’s recurve individual event yesterday. With this Bhutan has managed to win a total of 19 medals from the ongoing South Asian Games 2019.

Bhutan is now only left with the Bhutanese men’s football team who will play for gold against Nepal today evening.
