DPT declares three new candidates

Druk Phuensum Tshogpa declared three new candidates today for the upcoming National Assembly elections. The candidates will represent the party from Paro, Thimphu and Trongsa. With this, the party has revealed 14 new candidates.

Namgyel Wangdi is the party’s candidate from the North Thimphu constituency in Thimphu. The 40-year-old has a Bachelor of Human Resource Management from Gedu College of Business Studies. Before joining the party, he worked as the human resource manager at Druk Green Power Corporation Limited.

 

 

 

 

Likewise, N Tandin Dorji will represent the Lamgong-Wangchang constituency in Paro. The 58-year-old holds a Master’s in Education from the University of New Brunswick in Canada. He previously worked as a teacher.

 

 

 

 

 

And Zhungchuk is contesting as the party’s candidate from the Nubi-Tangsibji constituency in Trongsa. The 35-year-old has a Bachelor’s in Commerce from North Bengal University in India. Before joining the party, he was the manager of his privately owned project.
