Bhutan was represented by 24-year-old Tshering Penjor in the heats for the 200-metre event today where he competed with six other nations. Tshering, making his senior debut, ran the 200-metre distance in 22.83 seconds. The championship is hosted by Thailand with over 1500 athletes from 42 countries competing in various track and field events. The championship will conclude tomorrow.
