Team Nganglam Pema Gatshel are the champions of the Women’s Summer Volleyball Championship held at the Changlimithang National Volleyball Arena in Thimphu. They defeated last year’s winners, United Ladies by three sets to one in the finals played yesterday.
They were awarded the championship trophy along with cash prizes. The two-day event witnessed the participation of ten women’s volleyball teams representing various regions of the country. Meanwhile, the men’s tournament is also underway starting today. The Bhutan Volleyball Federation organises the event every summer.
