Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa declares one more candidate

The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa declared their candidate for Tsirang’s Kilkhorthang-Mendrelgang constituency in the capital today. 50-year-old Dhan Bahadur Chhetri from Dzamlingzor village in Mendrelgang Gewog is the party’s new candidate. He will also be the party’s vice president. Dhan Bahadur holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the College of Natural Resources in Punakha. He served as a forest ranger for 21 years before joining the party. During the declaration, the party also confirmed it has six female candidates. The party has declared 41 candidates so far.
