The country will be able to import sugar from 13 sugar millers in India, which would help reduce the price of sugar. According to the minister, sugar millers in India are not willing to sell to Bhutan since the country’s market is small. Following which, the government held talks with the Government of India to aid Bhutanese retailers and industries import sugar.
