His Holiness the Je Khenpo presides over a six-day kurim to avert natural disasters

His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over a six-day kurim to avert natural disasters in the country at the Tendrelthang in Tashichhoedzong, Thimphu, starting today. The prayer ceremony is being conducted by monks from the Central Monastic Body. Goenpo Tshe-pami rituals, which includes Tshe-khu Gaypa and Yangku prayers will also be performed for the country’s economic prosperity during the six-day event. Along with the kurim, His Holiness consecrated a Zhabdrung Phuensum Tshogpa Thongdray belonging to the community of Tsangpo Chiwog in Trashigang’s Thrimshing Gewog this morning.
