According to the Election Act, all petitions after the date of the election should be submitted to the High Court.

The tenure of the third National Council members will end on Tuesday and the newly elected members will join the office the next day. The fourth National Council Elections was held on the 20th of last month. Only two incumbent members of the National Council from Paro and Chhukha won the elections while 18 districts have elected new faces.
