The European Union and Bhutan signed a grant agreement of 9.3 M Euros today at the 11th Bhutan-EU annual consultation meeting. The financial agreement is to strengthen good governance and digitalisation in Bhutan. This is part of a seven-year programme from 2021 to 2027. The European Union’s deputy director general said that Bhutan’s graduation from LDC is a big success and assured the European Union’s continued support.
