Business owners in the country can now avail themselves of import and export licences and permits online, without having to visit the regulatory offices. Applications can now be filed using the Bhutan TradeFin Net (BTFN) System, an integrated cross-border trade and financial transaction system which was launched today in Thimphu. The system will be piloted until June this year to study its efficiency.
