With many youths leaving the country for better opportunities, it has increased the stress on the nation’s economic workforce. But according to the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment, interventions such as the Basic Entrepreneur Courses, Build Bhutan Project, and Youth Engagement and Livelihood Programmes as well as the import of foreign workers expected to stabilize the country’s economic workforce stable. He added the gap will also be filled over the years by more skilled people when youth in other countries come back with greater knowledge and skills.
