Bhutan Tendrel Party declares candidate for Gelephu constituency

The Bhutan Tendrel Party has declared Karma Rinchen as one of its candidates from Sarpang. The party has declared 15 candidates so far.

The 54-year-old from Tshojan village in Chhuzanggang Gewog will represent the party from Gelephu Constituency. He has a Master of Education from Edith Cowan University in Australia and a Bachelor of Education from the Samtse College of Education.

According to a news release, Karma has more than 30 years of experience in the civil service. He served as a teacher, lecturer, Dzongrab and Drungpa in different districts.

He led the Phuentshogling Incident Management team and was also a member of the Southern Covid-19 Taskforce during the pandemic.
