BTP reveals two more candidates

The Bhutan Tendrel Party revealed two more candidates today. The candidates will represent a constituency each in Trashigang and Pema Gatshel. With this the party has declared 12 candidates so far.

Sonam Yonten is Bhutan Tendrel Party’s candidate from Khar_Yurung constituency in Pema Gatshel. With a Bachelor of Education, the 42-year-old has served as a teacher for more than 10 years.

Before joining politics, he was the owner of a tour company and real estate business.

52-year-old Lam Dorji is representing the party from Wamrong Constituency in Trashigang.

With a Masters in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, he has worked in the civil service for over 31 years.

Lam Dorji has worked for more than 14 years in Trashi Yangtse and was serving as the district’s Dzongrab before joining Bhutan Tendrel Party.
