Bhutan Tendrel Party declares candidate for Boomdeling-Jamkhar constituency

The Bhutan Tendrel Party has declared Wangdi as one of its candidates from Trashi Yangtse. The party has declared ten candidates so far.

The 41-year-old from Tshaling village will represent the party from Boomdeling-Jamkhar Constituency. He graduated from the Institute of Language and Culture Studies in Simtokha. He also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Paro College of Education.

According to a news release, Wangdi began his teaching career in 2011 and volunteered to teach in some of the remotest parts of the country including Laya and Lunana in Gasa and Soe in Thimphu.

Having undergone the DeSuung training in 2017, he also served during the Covid-19 pandemic.
