DTT declares three more candidates

The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa has declared three more candidates for the upcoming parliamentary election. The party declared the candidates today in Thimphu. With this, the party has declared 23 candidates so far.

Leki Wangchuk will be contesting from the Khatoed-Laya constituency in Gasa. The 30-year-old has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from the College of Science and Technology in Phuentshogling. He worked in the construction and business sectors.

46-year-old Norbu is the party’s candidate from the Khar-Yurung constituency in Pema Gatshel. He has Masters in Leadership and Management Programme from Paro College of Education. He served as teacher and Vice Principal in various schools for almost two decades.

And 32-year-old Tashi Penjor will represent the party from Nyishog-Saephu constituency in Wangdue Phodrang. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Sherubtse College. He worked in the film industry as an actor, director and scriptwriter for more than eight years.

Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa is the country’s fifth registered political party.
