A 50-year-old man, who was on the run, after allegedly murdering his wife in Wangduephodrang has been arrested. According to our Wangdue Bureau Correspondent, Kinzang Thinley, the accused was caught by the village volunteers at Longtey in Sephu on Saturday. They had then handed him over to the police.

The accused has confessed to killing his 37-year-old wife. The wife was found brutally murdered on September 20. Her throat had been slit open and she was stabbed in her stomach, killing their unborn child.
