Bhutan Trade FinNet System Phase-I launched

Traders can now process import licenses from the comfort of their homes instead of having to visit different agencies with the launch of The Bhutan Trade FinNet system phase one. The web-based platform worth sixty-four million Ngultrum will significantly reduce transaction costs and make the process more efficient. The system will eliminate the multiple submissions of the same documents by the applicants to the different government agencies through the common system. The Royal Monetary Authority in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Finance initiated the system. The final phase will complete in March next year.
