A 50-year-old man allegedly murdered his 37-year-old wife yesterday at Sephu gewog in Wangduephodrang. The incident apparently took place at around 7 p.m.
Sources told our reporter, Kinzang Thinley, that the man brutally murdered his wife by cutting her throat and stabbing her in the stomach killing the unborn child.The husband is said to have fled the scene.
The man is from Dangchu gewog while the wife is from Sephu gewog.
