The latest political party to join the race, the Bhutan Tendrel Tshogpa, has submitted its application for registration to the ECB. According to a party spokesperson, the party submitted its application along with the party name, logo, charter, and other details to the Election Commission this morning.
As per a news release, the party held its first convention yesterday. During the convention, Dasho Pema Chewang was unanimously elected as the party president. The party is planning to hold a mega convention in Thimphu once it receives approval on its application from the ECB.
