Finance Minister assures additional budget to resurface Samtse-Phuentshogling internal highway

Despite being allocated nearly Nu 34 M, resurfacing works on the 25 kilometres stretch along the Samtse-Phuentshogling internal highway is expected to incur more budget. The released budget will only be able to resurface about 10 kilometres of the stretch. The Finance Minister, however, assured to provide an additional budget once the resurfacing works are complete. Although yet to begin, the much needed-resurfacing works along the Samtse-Phuentshogling highway are scheduled to complete by June next year.
