The Animal Life-saving Association or the Semchen Tshethar Tshogpa filed a complaint with the police against Tashi Tobgay for alleged deceptive practice. The association took the matter to the police today.

The Bar Council of Bhutan, last week cancelled the license of Kartshi Legal Firm in Gelephu after concluding that it was being used by Tashi Tobgay. The Semchen Tshethar Tshogpa alleged that their regional coordinator colluded with Tashi Tobgay and claimed huge legal fees of Nu 217,000 for preparing legal documents for the Association.

However, Tashi Tobgay denied all allegations and claimed that he never used the license of Kartshi Legal firm. He said he has been doing business only on the trade license he has for his enterprise.
