Overexploitation puts pressure on Pema Lingpa’s depleting iron residue

It won’t be long before Tertoen Pema Lingpa’s iron residues near his forge above Baribrang in Bumthang become extinct. Overexploitation of the area is worrying people in the nearby villages who say the iron residues could well have run out. Today, there is no community or institution in the custody of the historically important site.
