People of Wamrong and Thrimshang Dungkhags under Trashigang now have access to banking and insurance facilities. Earlier, they had to travel more than eight kilometres to avail the facilities in Trashigang.
The Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited branch office in Wamrong was inaugurated by the Home and Cultural affairs Minister, Minjur Dorji. Lyonpo said the service centers will greatly benefit the civil servants and the people of two Dungkhags.
Lyonpo Minjur Dorji also inaugurated the Bank of Bhutan’s extension counter. The business community, Dungkhag and Dzongkhag officials were present during the opening ceremony.
