Taktse Lhakhang in Drakteng Gewog of Trongsa unfurled the Zhabdrung Daknangmi Thongdrel today. The Thongdrel was recently consecrated by His Holiness the Je Khenpo. Hundreds of devotees from Taktse College of Language and Culture Studies and two chiwogs of Tagtse and Uesar received blessings.
The Tshogki Lopen of the Central Monastic Body presided over the unfurling ceremony. The Thongdrel was made to pay homage to Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and the Wangchuck Dynasty.
