Seventeen teams are participating in the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck traditional memorial archery tournament in Thimphu. It began from yesterday.
The organiser told BBS that the number of participants this year is more compared to last year. The teams have come from nearby Dzongkhags like Chhukha, Haa, Phuentsholing and Gelephu.
The annual tournament is being organised by Bhutan Indigenous Games and Sports Association to promote and preserve the traditional games.
