The Sustainable Low Emission Urban Transport System Project will replace around 300 taxis in the country with electric vehicles by the end of this year. As part of the project, more than 50 electric vehicles were distributed to cab drivers in Thimphu today. The project is one of the country’s largest environmental projects.
