A new political party is expected to join the parliamentary elections race in 2023. The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa is in the process of getting officially registered under the Election Commission of Bhutan and hopes to get it done this month.
According to a party official, it has confirmed about ninety per cent of its candidates. The party charter has also been completed, all its dzongkhag coordinators finalised, received over 2,500 voter support and is all set to apply for registration by the end of the month.
