Paro FC bows out of the Asian Football Confederation Cup 2022, after a 2-1 defeat against Club Valencia of the Maldives last night. The match went neck and neck in the first half with one goal each. And after a goalless second half, the game was stretched to another thirty minutes of extra time.

It was only in the 11th minute of extra time that the host team found the back of the net taking the lead and the match in Club Valencia’s favour.

Paro FC’s Coach Pushpalal Sharma said that his team performed well with dominance in ball possession and several chances created in the second half. The team will be back in the country tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Club Valencia of the Maldives will face the Bangladeshi Club Abahani Ltd Dhaka next week.
