Twelve students of Chapcha Middle Secondary School in Chhukha are suffering from nutritional deficiency. The officials from the Department of Public Health, who visited the school for investigation today, confirmed that it was the case of nutritional deficiency.
The students had complained of swollen legs and numbness. The Tsimalakha hospital has collected blood samples of the 12 students and they have already been given vitamin supplements.
The public health officials, however, said the problem is not as serious like the previous cases of Schools in Lhuentse and Samdrup Jongkhar
