A man in his early 30s was washed away by Mangdechhu River in Trongsa yesterday at around 4:30pm. The incident took place below Tashidingkha. The man works at Mangdechhu Hydropower project in the transmission line section. He is from Trashigang. Sources told our reporter, Surjaman Thapa, that the man was seen with his friend before the incident occurred.
Mangdechhu project security personnel, staff and police are still searching for the body.
