Overseas employment is one of the programs that help hundreds of Bhutanese gain employment. Besides, it contributes to the country’s economy in terms of inward remittance. After it came to a halt due to the pandemic, people have started going overseas for work, yet again. And going by the labour minister, unlike in the past, this program has been made safer and professional, involving all the relevant stakeholders.
