Coinciding with the National Day today, Gasa Dzongkhag launched a book about pilgrim sites in the district. Besides, they also launched organic local products. Gasa holds a special place in history. It is the place where Zhabdrung, the founder of Bhutan first came to the country.
Therefore, the district has a lot of sacred religious sites but nothing much about it in writing. But this book is going to change that.
Similarly, five organic local agricultural products were also launched. The organic farmers’ group said adding value to the products helps the farm produce from going to waste.
