The Police in Tsirang arrested a 30-year old man for allegedly stealing a cow. According to a source, the suspect had stolen a pregnant cow belonging to his parents and killed it on Sunday.
He was arrested from another gewog trying to sell the meat to one of the houses. The suspect is believed to have committed the crime to pay his house rent. He had failed to pay the rent for four months and had received a warning from the landlord.
