NA passes motion to lift the ban on issuance of bar licenses

The National Assembly yesterday passed the motion to lift the ban on issuance of bar licenses. The House also passed the recommendation to maximize the efforts to create awareness on the ill effects of consuming alcohol. The Athang Thedtsho MP, Kinley Wangchuk moved the motion in the House. The government suspended the issuance of new bar licenses in 2010.
