To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the founding of the monastic community at Chari Goenpa by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and to celebrate the 25th year of the enthronement of Trulku Jigme Choeda as the 70th Je Khenpo of Bhutan, the Institute of Science of Mind published two books.

The books, titled Dharmaraja – A Reminiscence and A Biography of His Holiness the 70th Je Khenpo, were published today.

Dharmaraja – A Reminiscence comprises 16 chapters that are inspired by Zhabdrung’s 16 line poetry or Nga-Chudrugma. The chapters are categorized into spiritual and secular sections with each containing eight different themes.

Likewise, A Biography of His Holiness the 70th Je Khenpo contains six chapters. It symbolizes the six perfections or Pharchin-Dru.

The Institute plans to distribute the books to the Colleges and Shedras across the country.
